An international AI summit focusing on Global South's advancements is scheduled in New Delhi from February 16-20, 2026. This event will cover AI policy, research, industry, and public engagement, highlighting India's commitment to AI for socio-economic development.
Approved in March 2024, the IndiaAI Mission, with a budget of Rs 10,371.92 crore, actively supports AI-enabled healthcare applications. Initiatives like the IndiaAI Application Development Initiative foster innovative AI solutions to address national challenges, enhancing healthcare delivery's efficiency and accessibility.
