Recognizing the global challenge of hypertension, Huawei partnered with the International Society of Hypertension to establish a Wearable Blood Pressure Technology Innovation Fund. This initiative supports research aimed at improving blood pressure measurement and management through wearable devices.
Wrist-worn blood pressure monitors with inflatable cuffs are gaining traction and are now mentioned in major international guidelines, including those from the European Society of Hypertension and the ISH. These guidelines acknowledge the value of validated devices for self-monitoring.
The HUAWEI WATCH D3 offers advanced features like pre and post-exercise blood pressure measurement, which has received EU CE certification. Huawei is also collaborating with institutions on studies like the Minimally Disruptive ABPM Study to refine monitoring techniques, aiming to integrate comprehensive health insights into daily life.
