St Richard's Hospice has planted nine hundred handcrafted forget-me-not flowers in Worcestershire, creating a poignant display to remember hospice patients and generate vital funds.
The metal blooms, a creation by artist Ed Alvis of Metal Art UK, are located in the gardens of St Andrew's Spire in Worcester. Alvis was personally moved to contribute, as his own father received care from the charity at home.
Supporters have the opportunity to purchase one of these symbolic metal flowers. The acquisition can be made by individuals who wish to bring a bloom home with them. This fundraising initiative concludes on August 31, when the installation finishes.
