Haryana is significantly enhancing its healthcare services, with a focus on early cancer detection through increased screening tests. A new 50-bed Atal cancer care center in Ambala Cantt is already serving patients from Haryana and neighboring states with advanced facilities.
The state is actively working to overcome doctor shortages by appointing 746 medical officers and 845 ayurvedic medical officers. Further bolstering medical services, 346 medical officers and 154 specialists are providing care under the National Health Mission. MRI scan facilities are being expanded, with current availability in five districts and plans for nine more.
Impressive strides have been made in the Anemia-Free India campaign, leading to a reduction in the state's anemia rate from 59% to 53%. This success has elevated Haryana's national standing. The government reiterates its commitment to delivering affordable, accessible, and high-quality healthcare for all citizens.
