Haryana Boosts Healthcare with 430 New Doctors

Haryana has significantly bolstered its public service delivery through two key initiatives: the appointment of 430 medical officers and the expansion of its digital governance framework. Health Minister Arti Singh Rao announced the recruitment of doctors, including specialists in surgery, anaesthesia, orthopaedics, and paediatrics, who will be deployed to district and sub-divisional civil hospitals, as well as community and primary health centres. These medical professionals are required to report within 15 days of receiving their appointment letters.

The state is also advancing its digital infrastructure, with 25,201 Atal Seva Kendras registered and 946 online services accessible through the Antyodaya SARAL portal. This digital push, including the adoption of DigiLocker and the installation of 8,468 Wi-Fi hotspots in gram panchayats, aims to make government services more efficient and transparent. Furthermore, Haryana is enhancing its grievance redressal mechanisms, having resolved over 15.3 lakh complaints via CM Window and introducing a Social Media Grievance Tracker. The government's future focus includes developing Haryana as a major artificial intelligence hub.
