Gurugram Dengue Cases Rise: 53 Total This Season

Civic authorities are enforcing measures to prevent stagnant water and mosquito breeding at residential complexes and construction sites. As a result, 1,919 show-cause notices have been issued to property owners for violations under the Municipal Corporation Act. Field surveillance teams have also surveyed over 1.12 million households since January as part of an active surveillance program to detect fever clusters and address mosquito habitats.
Anti-larval spraying and fogging activities have been intensified throughout the district. No malaria cases were reported on Friday, maintaining the year's total at five, with no associated deaths. Laboratory teams continue to collect and analyze blood samples to monitor the spread of these vector-borne diseases.
