This initiative is a critical component of a five-year research study. It specifically targets UChicago Medicine patients in Illinois who are over the age of 50 and do not have dental insurance, aiming to improve their oral health outcomes.
The state-of-the-art, 37-foot-long clinic is outfitted with two dental chairs. It offers a comprehensive range of services, including oral examinations, X-rays, and procedures such as root canals and denture fitting, bringing essential care directly to the community.
