Free Hearing Aids Offered This Holiday Season

Beltone's 'Hear for the Holidays' campaign is actively providing free hearing aids to individuals facing hearing loss in East and North Jacksonville. This charitable initiative allows for nominations of those in need, with applications accepted until December 31st. The program, now in its third year, is facilitated by the Beltone Hearing Care Foundation, which has a significant history of donating hearing devices.

This campaign aims to enhance the holiday experience for those who struggle with conversations during gatherings. Improved hearing can lead to more comfortable social interactions, better emotional well-being, and increased personal safety. The foundation's commitment is underscored by its success in donating over 1,250 hearing aids last year alone.

To be eligible for this program, potential recipients must complete an online nomination form and attend a complimentary hearing screening at a participating Beltone clinic. A crucial requirement for qualification is a minimum hearing loss of 25 decibels. This effort aims to help many of the nearly 50 million Americans experiencing hearing loss.
