Watermelon Foams Mysteriously Overnight

A striking video shared by popular YouTuber Gaurav Taneja, known as Flying Beast, has raised questions about watermelon safety. The footage showed a large watermelon excessively foaming after being left out on a kitchen counter overnight because the refrigerator was full. Taneja noted the foaming persisted throughout the day, prompting him to consult the vendor.

The vendor reportedly denied applying any chemicals, stating that gas had formed naturally inside the fruit. However, online speculation suggested the foaming was a sign of rapid internal fermentation and rotting. Many users attributed this to bacterial growth accelerated by the high summer temperatures.

This incident follows a tragic event in Mumbai where a family of four died after consuming watermelon. Forensic analysis later confirmed lethal chemical poisoning, specifically traces of rat poison, as the cause of death. Authorities are investigating whether the contamination was accidental or deliberate.
