The affected products include four specific types of 8-inch and 6-inch pound cakes with buttercream icing, distinguished by their decorations like pink or red roses and confetti. These specific cakes were distributed to 28 Kroger Mid-Atlantic and Ukrop's Market Hall locations throughout Virginia and West Virginia. The recall highlights the serious health risks posed by undeclared allergens, as soy allergies can lead to severe reactions, including life-threatening anaphylaxis. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this recall.
