The lungs were transported to another hospital within Pune, while one kidney was sent to Nashik. The other kidney and the liver were successfully transplanted into a patient at Noble Hospitals.
Hospital officials praised the farmer's family for their selfless act during such a difficult period. The husband of the deceased farmer is also undergoing treatment in critical condition in the ICU.
