Dipika Kakar Faces New Medical Challenge

Actress Dipika Kakar, known for her role in Bigg Boss 12, is confronting a new medical issue. Doctors recently identified a 13mm cyst, prompting concern following her liver cancer surgery last year. During that procedure, 22 percent of her liver was removed to treat a cancerous tumor.

In a recent YouTube vlog, her husband Shoaib Ibrahim revealed that Dipika experienced mild stomach pain that intensified, leading to hospital visits and the discovery of the new cyst. While the pain was initially concerning, doctors believe the shoulder discomfort she also reported is unrelated.

Dipika is scheduled for a procedure next week to address the cyst, which Shoaib described as a "small surgery" where the cyst will be "burned." She is expected to be hospitalized for three to four days. The couple is relieved the issue was detected early, as aggressive tumors have a chance of recurrence.

Following this development, Dipika's treatment plan may change, potentially shifting from oral chemotherapy to immunotherapy. She emphasized the importance of regular follow-ups and staying strong through health obstacles, a sentiment echoed by Shoaib who highlighted the recurring nature of such conditions and the necessity of diligent medical care.
