Dermatologist Launches Acne-Focused Clinic to Revolutionize Skincare
13 Nov
Summary
- New "Spotless" clinic offers efficient, expert acne treatments
- Staffed by nurse practitioners and physician assistants trained by dermatologist
- Aims to provide convenient, affordable acne care in a welcoming environment

In November 2025, a new Manhattan clinic called Spotless is launching with the goal of making expert acne care as accessible as a Drybar blowout. Founded by dermatologist Amy Wechsler and her daughter Zoe, Spotless is a specialized clinic that offers a range of acne treatments, including extractions, salicylic acid peels, and low-dose steroid shots.
The clinic, located on Lexington Avenue, is staffed by nurse practitioners and physician assistants who have been trained by Dr. Wechsler. Patients can book appointments through an app or website, and walk-ins are also welcome. Spotless aims to provide efficient, expert acne care at more affordable prices than a traditional dermatology office, with services starting at $100 after an initial $250 consultation.
Dr. Wechsler, who earned an MBA last year, says the combination of a clear specialty and a medical staff is what sets Spotless apart from competitors like Heyday, Silver Mirror Facial Bar, and Glowbar, which offer acne-focused services alongside other skincare treatments. "We're doing all acne, all the time," she explains.
With $2.6 million in investment, the Wechslers plan to open a second Spotless location in downtown Manhattan next year, with the goal of expanding the concept to more areas where the need for accessible acne care is high.
