- Event on June 21 raises awareness for life-saving skills.
- Funds will replace an aging 4x4 response vehicle.

On the longest day of the year, June 21, Telford Community First Responders will undertake a unique 14-hour fundraising challenge. Volunteers will perform continuous CPR on a mannequin from sunrise to sunset at the Halfway House Café on the Wrekin. This event aims to increase public awareness of vital life-saving skills.
Peter Corr, who survived a cardiac arrest in 2019 thanks to bystanders performing CPR, is participating. He became a community first responder to promote CPR education. The challenge invites community groups and the public to join and help sustain the effort, with additional mannequins available for public use.
The funds raised will be crucial for replacing the group's aging 4x4 response vehicle. This replacement will enable volunteers to continue providing rapid assistance across the local area, ensuring timely help for those in need.
