- Cardiovascular diseases were identified as the leading cause of sudden deaths.
- Researchers emphasized trusting scientific sources over misinformation.
A comprehensive one-year autopsy-based study conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi, has concluded that there is no scientific evidence to suggest a link between COVID-19 vaccination and sudden deaths among young adults aged 18 to 45. The research, published in the Indian Journal of Medical Research, examined various autopsy methods to analyze sudden death cases.
The findings revealed that cardiovascular diseases were the predominant cause of these tragic events, followed by respiratory illnesses and other non-cardiac conditions. The study meticulously analyzed vaccination status and COVID-19 infection history, finding no causal relationship with sudden fatalities in the younger demographic.
