She tragically passed away in October 2023 following liposuction surgery in Turkey. The inquest revealed that Ms. Dowell was offered a discounted Brazilian butt-lift procedure as an 'afterthought' just minutes before her scheduled operations.
While the Brazilian butt-lift itself did not cause her death, the coroner stated that the practice of upselling these procedures could put others at risk. Ms. Dowell died from complications arising from liposuction at a clinic in Istanbul. Her husband reported that the family had paid 7,000 euros for liposuction and a tummy tuck, but were given minimal time to decide on the additional procedure.
