- Projects will help organizations better understand communities.

Community organizations across Cornwall have an opportunity to secure funding for health and wellbeing initiatives. Grants of up to £5,000 are now available through the Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) Cornwall. This program encourages local groups to conduct their own research.
Councillor Thalia Marrington highlighted that the funding enables organizations to better understand and support the communities they serve. This initiative builds on a successful pilot, which saw projects exploring health barriers for diverse women and the experiences of homeless youth.
Organisations are urged to consider how they can contribute to ongoing research and apply for the available funding. The goal is to foster deeper community insight and generate innovative ideas for future research within Cornwall.
