Despite the discomfort and temporary disfigurement, Dabbs expressed great satisfaction with the long-term results, noting that her skin appeared fresher, more youthful, and her jowl area was noticeably tightened. The treatment is effective for issues like acne scarring, sun damage, and fine lines.
Experts state that CO2 laser treatments can last between three to five years, depending on individual factors, and work by stimulating cellular regeneration for smoother, firmer skin. Dabbs has also had the treatment on her hands and stomach with positive results.
