This ensures continued health insurance benefits for over 1.45 crore families, with the state contributing ₹849 per family. The premium covers the period from January 11, 2026, to January 10, 2027.

Since its inception in 2009, CMCHIS has undergone significant expansion. Recent initiatives have enrolled over 2.7 lakh new beneficiaries. The scheme now includes special categories such as orphans, persons with disabilities, and individuals from refugee camps, bringing an additional 7,56,873 people under its coverage.
