- Focus on yoga, stress management, and well-being.
- Agreement valid for five years.

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has entered into a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Ayush. This partnership is designed to promote Ayush-based preventive healthcare, wellness practices, yoga, and stress management techniques for CISF personnel and their families. The agreement solidifies cooperation to extend traditional Indian medicine services to security forces.
This collaboration, effective for five years, will focus on awareness generation and wellness interventions. It also explores the feasibility of providing Ayush Outpatient Department (OPD) services at CISF establishments. The Ministry of Ayush will offer technical support and expert guidance, while CISF will facilitate the implementation across its units.
The initiative represents a crucial step in integrating traditional medicine into the lives of security personnel, aiming to improve their health and overall quality of life. This follows a broader trend of mainstreaming Ayush systems globally, with India actively supporting their inclusion in international healthcare standards.
