As of 9:30 a.m., more than half a million dollars had been raised for KIDSS For Kids, an affiliated organization that offers services such as social work, pet therapy, and inpatient summer camp programs.
The climb, featuring 1,600 steps, presented a challenge to both competitive and recreational climbers.
