On August 15, cardiac patients who had been successfully treated at Kauvery Hospital in Vadapalani participated in the 'Namma Heart Walk' at the Anna Nagar Tower Park. The event was flagged off by Anna Nagar MLA M.K. Mohan and artist Trotsky Marudu, and the patients were joined by senior cardiologists and cardiac surgeons from the hospital, including Anbarasu Mohanraj, P. Manokar, and C. Sundar.
The 'Namma Heart Walk' was organized to celebrate the recovery of these cardiac patients and to promote the importance of physical activity in cardiac rehabilitation. During the event, the participants walked alongside their cardiologists, demonstrating the strong bond between patients and their healthcare providers.
In addition to the walk, an Automated External Defibrillator unit was also inaugurated at the park, ensuring that emergency medical assistance would be readily available in case of any cardiac-related incidents. This move underscores Kauvery Hospital's commitment to providing comprehensive care and support for its cardiac patients, both during and after their treatment.
