Bollywood Composer Rajesh Roshan Recuperates After Successful Heart Surgery

Renowned Bollywood music composer Rajesh Roshan is on the road to recovery after undergoing a successful open-heart surgery at a Mumbai hospital. According to the report, Roshan, known for composing the music for films like Koi Mil Gaya, had gone for a routine health check-up last weekend, during which doctors discovered blockages in his heart. They immediately advised him to undergo the surgical procedure, which took place on Monday, October 6.

The operation was successful, and Roshan is currently under observation at the Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre. A source close to the Roshan family stated that the composer is recovering well and is expected to be discharged soon. The family is now looking forward to celebrating Diwali with Roshan.

This health scare for Rajesh Roshan comes just a few months after his brother, veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, also underwent a medical procedure following a routine check-up that revealed a more than 75% blockage in his carotid arteries. Rakesh Roshan was immediately hospitalized and discharged within a couple of days after successful treatment.
