Bokaro General Hospital (BGH), operated by Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL), has bolstered its specialized medical services. The hospital recently inaugurated advanced medical equipment and facilities aimed at enhancing patient care across its cardiac, critical care, neurosurgery, and ENT departments.
The cardiology department has introduced a Treadmill Test (TMT) machine to better assess cardiac performance. For critical care, a new Reverse Osmosis (RO) unit has been installed to provide highly purified water essential for dialysis within the Critical Care Unit (CCU). This upgrade allows critically ill patients to undergo dialysis in the CCU, minimizing the need for transfers.
Furthermore, the neurosurgery department is now equipped with a high-speed neurosurgical drill system, enabling more precise bone removal during intricate brain and spinal surgeries. The ENT department has also received an Integrated Powered Drill and Debrider System, improving the efficacy of procedures such as Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery.
