Summary
- Bindi Irwin endured over 50 endometriosis lesion removals.
- She faced a decade of undiagnosed pain before diagnosis.
- Awareness for women's health and endometriosis is urged.

Wildlife warrior Bindi Irwin recently disclosed the profound impact of her 'invisible disease' on her health. In an emotional Instagram post, she revealed a harrowing decade of being undiagnosed with endometriosis.
Irwin has endured extensive medical interventions, including the removal of over 50 endometriosis lesions, a chocolate cyst, an appendectomy, and hernia repair. She described experiencing indescribable and inescapable pain, feeling weak and insecure as doctors initially dismissed her symptoms.
As endometriosis awareness month concluded, Irwin implored for greater compassion and support for those suffering. She highlighted the importance of raising awareness for women's health issues, advocating that no one should endure such pain silently and encouraging those affected to seek answers.
Her mother, Terri Irwin, expressed pride and emphasized the importance of seeking surgeons specializing in excision surgery over ablation. Jessica Horwitz from Tia explained that endometriosis affects an estimated 5-11% of women aged 15-49 in the U.S., with up to 50% of infertile women found to have the condition.
