Bengaluru Gets New 100-Bed Cardiac Unit

The Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Greater Bengaluru Authority. This collaboration will lead to the establishment of a new 100-bed Jayadeva satellite unit.
The new facility will be situated in Govindarajnagara, located in the western part of Bengaluru. This development fulfills a key promise made in the State Budget, aiming to improve accessibility to specialized cardiac care for residents.
The agreement was formally signed by Jayadeva hospital Director B. Dinesh and GBA Chief Commissioner N. Maheshwar Rao. The signing ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including Medical Education & Skill Development Minister Sharan Prakash Patil, underscoring the project's importance.
