2 Mar
Summary
- A beautician died after undergoing three simultaneous cosmetic surgeries.
- She was found unresponsive by her sister at her home in Brazil.
- Medical experts warn of increased risks with combined, longer surgeries.

A beautician tragically died at her home in Inhumas, Brazil, on February 28, after undergoing three cosmetic surgeries concurrently. Priscila Dorneles, a biomedicine graduate and clinic owner, opted for multiple procedures to expedite recovery and reduce costs. The surgeries included liposuction, a breast lift with implants, and scar correction.
Her sister discovered Priscila unresponsive on her bedroom floor and performed CPR. Emergency responders continued resuscitation efforts during transport to a public emergency care unit but could not save her life. Investigations into the exact causes of her death have been initiated by the Civil Police.
While combining cosmetic surgeries is not uncommon to shorten recovery, medical professionals highlight the amplified risks. Longer operating times and extended anesthesia increase the potential for complications like infection, bleeding, and blood clots, underscoring the dangers of extensive procedures.
