Health authorities are intensifying surveillance and case-tracking in affected areas.
Unvaccinated children or those who have not received the full two-dose measles vaccination schedule face the highest risk. Malnourished children are particularly vulnerable to severe complications like pneumonia and encephalitis. Parents are strongly urged to keep routine vaccinations up to date and seek immediate medical attention if symptoms arise.
