Former model Angie Best has shared the incredible news that she is now cancer-free after completing treatment for Stage 3 colon cancer. She initially announced her diagnosis in January of this year.
Angie revealed that the cancer had unfortunately spread to her liver. However, she underwent an intensive treatment plan that included chemotherapy and immunotherapy, which successfully shrunk the tumors.
Following the shrinkage of the cancer, Angie underwent keyhole surgery to remove the last part of the disease. She described the process of recovery, including dietary restrictions and the subsequent positive results of her body functioning correctly.
While splitting her time between the UK and a Swiss clinic for mistletoe therapy, Angie expressed immense gratitude. She stated she is officially cancer-free and focusing on healing, though she must remain in Switzerland for eight days post-operation to recover fully.
At 74, Angie is looking forward to a new chapter, aiming to 'reinvent' herself. Her son, Calum Best, had previously set up a GoFundMe page to support his mother's specialist medical care.
