The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Bibinagar has achieved a significant milestone, with approximately 85.97% of its physical work completed as of December 1, 2025. This medical facility is now poised for full completion by June 30, 2026.
The project's rapid progress is largely due to the effective implementation of the PRAGATI initiative. This central government digital platform facilitates direct, real-time project reviews by the Prime Minister, fostering proactive governance and timely completion of key initiatives.
Officials noted that AIIMS Bibinagar, alongside AIIMS Guwahati and Jammu, has greatly benefited from this high-level oversight and coordination. Physical progress surged from 8.6% in 2022-23 to 57% by the end of 2023-24, demonstrating the impact of PRAGATI's time-bound monitoring on the integrated ecosystem for medical education, research, and employment.
