AIIMS Bhubaneswar's medical oncology department has initiated a significant step towards breast cancer awareness by launching a dedicated breast self-examination booth. Since its inception four years ago, the department has provided care to nearly 1,000 breast cancer patients. On average, about 100 breast cancer patients seek consultation at the department each month, reflecting the prevalent need for awareness and accessible diagnostic methods.
