AI-Powered Physiotherapy App Transforms Lives, Slashes NHS Waiting Times

In November 2025, a groundbreaking AI-powered physiotherapy app called Flok Health is making waves in the UK's healthcare system. The app, which provides same-day automated video appointments, has been trialed in Cambridge and Peterborough, where it has more than halved physiotherapy waiting lists.

One patient, Annys Bossom, 57, from Cambridge, lived with excruciating back pain for 25 years until she tried Flok Health in February 2025. Bossom's pain had worsened during the pandemic when she was working from home, and she had previously tried NHS physiotherapy with limited success. However, Flok Health's personalized video exercises and constant feedback loop helped Bossom become pain-free within 3 months.

The app's co-founder, Finn Stevenson, a qualified doctor with a postgraduate degree in spinal deformity, developed Flok Health after struggling to get help for his own back issues.
