His family has since filed a lawsuit, alleging that the AI missed critical signs of narrowed arteries in his brain. This oversight, if true, could have prevented the catastrophic event.

The incident highlights growing concerns about the reliability of AI in medical diagnostics. Experts warn that thousands of NHS patients may be at risk of similar misdiagnoses.
