This remarkable achievement includes 240 donors who have contributed 794 organs, such as 443 kidneys, 214 livers, and 76 hearts.
The hospital's organ donation program recently facilitated the donation of one liver and two kidneys from a 29-year-old brain-dead patient, benefiting three critically ill individuals. This act of generosity followed the patient's fatal road accident injuries.
In addition to solid organ donations, the program has also received 194 eye donations and 44 skin donations, bringing the total number of donated tissues to 238. These contributions significantly extend the life-saving impact of the hospital's organ donation efforts.
