- One aneurysm ruptured, causing a life-threatening bleed.

A 42-year-old mother of four from Ivory Coast experienced a sudden, severe headache, leading to the discovery of 11 brain aneurysms. One aneurysm had ruptured, causing a subarachnoid hemorrhage. Due to limited specialized care in her home country, she sought advanced treatment in Bengaluru, India.
Upon arrival, detailed imaging revealed a total of 11 aneurysms. Doctors performed a staged treatment approach using minimally invasive techniques. The first procedure addressed the ruptured aneurysm and four others on the right side of the brain. A subsequent procedure treated five aneurysms on the left side.
Ten of the 11 aneurysms have now been successfully treated with coiling and flow diverters. The remaining aneurysm is small and stable, requiring monitoring. The patient made an excellent recovery, with improved eyelid function, and is preparing to return home to her children after nearly two months of treatment and recovery in Bengaluru.
