UK Heatwave to End: Brutal Downpours Incoming!

Brits are advised to enjoy the current heatwave as weather maps predict its swift end with heavy downpours expected. Temperatures are forecast to soar to 36C in East Anglia and southeast England by Thursday.
The Met Office has issued amber extreme heat alerts for 37 areas, warning of potential temperatures of 37C or even 38C in the southeast, east, and Midlands.
However, this glorious sunshine is expected to cease for 27 UK areas around August 21. Weather maps indicate severe downpours, with temperatures potentially plummeting to single digits in some locations.
The rain is predicted to be concentrated in the north and west, with the Scottish Highlands, Cumbria, and Cheshire potentially receiving up to 6.5mm of rain per hour.
Temperatures are set to dramatically drop, with the Scottish Highlands possibly experiencing lows of just 5C. Other parts of Scotland will see chilly conditions between 6C and 9C, while London and the Southwest will experience minimums of 13C-14C.
