Pregnant Dog Rescued From Cruelty, Welcomes Seven Pups

A pregnant dog, named Mya, was recently rescued from a dog-fighting lot where she was used for breeding, just weeks before she was due to give birth. Upon her rescue, Mya appeared weak and tense, a testament to the neglect and harsh conditions she endured.

Once in safety, Mya gave birth to seven puppies. However, the puppies were born weak, and Mya's own body remained fragile due to years of overbreeding. Despite these challenges, Mya displayed strong maternal instincts, nurturing her newborns.

Complications arose when two of the puppies became seriously ill, requiring immediate separation and intensive round-the-clock care, including bottle-feeding. Mya herself will also receive closer monitoring at a team member's home as her recovery is expected to take time.
