Polar Bear Brodie's Grand Tour: Back Home After Yorkshire Stay

7 Oct

Summary

Brodie, a polar bear born in Scotland, has returned home.
He stayed in Yorkshire for nearly a year during enclosure maintenance.
Brodie was joined by Luka, a bear he bonded with in Yorkshire.

Polar bear Brodie has completed his journey back to the Highland Wildlife Park in Scotland, near Aviemore. Brodie, born in December 2021 at the park, had been residing in Yorkshire for close to a year. This extended stay was due to necessary maintenance work on his enclosure at the Scottish facility.

During his time at Doncaster's Yorkshire Wildlife Park Resort, Brodie formed a bond with Luka, an older polar bear. The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland confirmed that Brodie has now returned north, and Luka has accompanied him. This reunion marks the end of Brodie's temporary relocation.
