Medical Waste Found Near Woodbury Creek

Medical waste, such as syringes, vaccine vials, and urine samples, was found strewn near Woodbury Creek on the Inspira Health Woodbury campus. The discovery was made last weekend by a local resident who was fishing in the area and subsequently contacted Action News. The resident expressed concern about public safety, particularly for children and pets who frequent the path.

Inspira Health was alerted to the situation and dispatched employees to clean up the site within an hour. The company released a statement indicating that while the site has been fully cleaned, they have no reason to believe the debris originated from Inspira Health. An investigation is currently underway to determine the source of the contamination.
