Karnataka Urban Development Minister Byrathi Suresh has pledged to visit Mangaluru to assess the critical waste management situation at the Pachanady dumping yard. He will conduct a joint inspection with local elected officials to devise a permanent solution for the escalating problem.
The visit follows urgent calls from a Legislative Council member highlighting severe issues, including poor waste segregation, infrequent collection, and the alarming state of the Pachanady yard.
