Madurai Bus Stand Sewage Crisis: Health Hazard Looms

The Arappalayam bus stand in Madurai is facing a significant public health crisis due to stagnant sewage and an open waste dump. This unsanitary condition, exacerbated by open urination, poses a severe health hazard to hundreds of daily commuters and nearby residents. Residents in both areas are demanding that sewage management and waste clearance be treated as priority public health issues, rather than mere cosmetic clean-ups, to ensure a healthier environment.
