The ISA SIDS Platform aims to build a digital and financial ecosystem to streamline access to solar technologies for island nations. India's own progress, exemplified by programs like 'PM Surya Ghar Rooftop Solar Programme' and investments in large-scale storage, offers a model for SIDS to reduce diesel imports and enhance climate resilience. The ISA, with over 124 member countries, facilitates project design, finance mobilization, and job creation.
