Summary
- Over $4.9 million raised to purchase Holly Hill Farm.
- Farm will remain a working farm and community resource.
- Educational programs serve over 20,000 students annually.
For generations, the White family owned Holly Hill Farm. Now, this 5.23-acre Massachusetts property is permanently protected as a working farm. Friends of Holly Hill Farm (FHHF) led a successful fundraising effort, amassing over $4.9 million to secure the land and invest in its infrastructure.
This pivotal purchase, finalized in September 2026, guarantees Holly Hill Farm will continue as a vital community resource. A Conservation Restriction has been placed on the land, preventing future development. FHHF will operate the farm, upholding its legacy of sustainable farming and education.
The farm is a certified organic operation providing fresh produce to nine local food pantries through its Farm to Food Pantry program. It also offers educational initiatives, reaching over 20,000 students annually across more than 14 communities.
Future plans include improvements to the historic barn, enhanced traffic flow and parking, a year-round indoor classroom, and updated facilities. These upgrades aim to expand the farm's capacity to teach, grow, and serve the community for generations ahead.
