Goa Beaches Sparkle: 3,878 Volunteers Join Massive Clean-Up

The drive was organized by the Indian Coast Guard in collaboration with the Ministry of Earth Sciences and various other stakeholders. Its purpose was to observe and celebrate International Coastal Clean-up Day, raising awareness about marine pollution.
Goa's Governor, Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, actively participated in the clean-up at Miramar beach. Additionally, ministers and other prominent figures joined the campaign at beaches within their respective constituencies, underscoring a shared commitment to safeguarding the marine ecosystem.
