- Inspection targeted road stretches and construction zones.
- Authorities directed to intensify dust mitigation measures.

During a recent inspection, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) identified 24 instances of severe road dust and accumulated construction and demolition waste in Ghaziabad. Ten flying squads participated in "Operation Clean Air," covering four zones and multiple road segments. Violations were noted for inadequate sweeping and dust suppression, alongside improper waste handling.
The CAQM has instructed authorities to enhance dust control through comprehensive cleaning, mechanized sweeping, and water sprinkling. They must also ensure prompt and scientific disposal of construction waste. Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam was advised to improve monitoring to prevent illegal dumping and ensure compliance with air pollution norms.
