Four Sea Turtles Released Back to Atlantic

Four juvenile green sea turtles have been released back into the Atlantic Ocean following extensive rehabilitation. Biologists with The Florida Aquarium transported the turtles from their rehabilitation center in Apollo Beach to a release site near Palm Coast. This marks the end of months of dedicated veterinary care for the young sea creatures.

The turtles were rescued from various locations along Florida's coast. One turtle, identified as Dark Blue Yellow, was found with a significant gash on its shell near Daytona Beach in March. The other three turtles were saved after experiencing cold-stunning events off Florida's east coast. All four are now confirmed to be in good health and prepared for their return to the wild.
