The animal was observed in the vicinity of Cumberland Oxford, south of Anthony Henday Drive and east of St. Albert Trail. This sighting occurred in the early morning hours, between midnight and 1:30 a.m.
No other bear sightings have been reported in the city since this initial observation. Authorities have also confirmed there were no incidents of aggressive behavior from the bear or any associated property damage.
