Dudhwa Tiger Reserve Reopens for Tourists After Monsoon Repairs

Dudhwa Tiger Reserve in Uttar Pradesh is gearing up to welcome visitors as the tourism season begins on November 1, 2025. The reserve, which comprises Dudhwa National Park, Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary, and Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary, was closed for maintenance work following the monsoon season.

According to the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve field director, Dr. H. Rajamohan, all routes and accommodations have been prepared to facilitate the tourists. The guides accompanying the visitors have also been trained to provide detailed information about the rich biodiversity and wildlife found in Dudhwa.

The deputy field director, Jagdish R., stated that the Dudhwa and Sonaripur ranges, along with Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary and the buffer zone, have been opened for tourists. However, the Sathiyana range will remain closed due to ongoing maintenance work.
