Delhi's Air Quality Set to Improve With Rain and Winds

The Air Quality Early Warning System for Delhi forecasts the AQI to enter the 'moderate' range by January 27-28, with a potential return to the 'poor' category around January 29. It is expected to remain in the 'poor' range through February 4.
Simultaneously, minimum temperatures have risen to approximately 8°C, nearing normal, a significant increase from the previous day's 4.2°C. Maximum temperatures are expected to reach between 18°C and 20°C on Tuesday.
Forecasters explain that approaching western disturbances alter wind patterns to warmer easterly flows, leading to higher minimum temperatures and potentially lower maximums due to overcast skies. This disturbance is also expected to bring fresh snowfall to the Himalayas, which could eventually cause minimum temperatures to drop across the plains.
