- Delhi experienced its coldest morning this month with the minimum temperature at 17.1°C.

Delhi shivered through its coldest morning of the month on Monday, as the Safdarjung weather station recorded a minimum temperature of 17.1 degrees Celsius, slightly below the seasonal average.
The city's air quality, currently classified as moderate, is anticipated to worsen to 'poor' levels starting October 21, according to the Central Pollution Control Board.
Unfavorable weather conditions, including a low ventilation index and light winds, are expected to hinder pollutant dispersal, exacerbating air quality concerns.
Nationally, satellite data revealed 98 instances of stubble burning across six states on October 19, with significant activity observed in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Since mid-September, over 1,171 farm fires have been detected across these states.
